Scheduled Network Maintenance - Oct 27th and Oct 28th
Saturday, October 21st, 2006Our hosting company has notified me of scheduled network maintenance on October 27th and 28th between the hours of 1:00am and 3:00am EST. Users can expect between 20-30 minutes of downtime during this maintenance window. We are uncertain as of now whether this outage will occur on the 27th or the 28th as it depends how far they get in the configuration on the 27th.
I will update this announcement if I hear anything more.
The outcome of this maintenance will be very good. They added another server and will be load balancing the cluster. This means that instead of having one server for our web server, we will now be seven server redundant. Increased reliability is only one of the many advantages.
