The Overclocked Blogs

Tuesday, August 15th, 2006

Today, I am proud to announce the grand opening of The Overclocked Blogs. This is a free service to all members of The Overclocked Forums with ten posts or more.

All blogs are powered by Wordpress, and are setup on an individually. Check out the home page for them as an example at http://blogs.theoverclocked.com

Feel free to start your own blog. All you have to do is drop me a PM letting me know that you want one and what you want the main title to be. I will then get you all setup and e-mail you your password so you can start blogging!

Hope you all enjoy the new blogs!

———————————————————-
EDIT: Forgot to mention, you can create “pages” too which can have anything you want on them. You can use them to display your rig or whatever you’d like
———————————————————-
EDIT 2- 8/16: There has been some confusion on how these blogs are setup. Each user has their own blog and has complete administration over their own blog. The usernames and passwords do NOT share a common database, meaning you cannot log into your blog from another blog on the server. Sorry for the confusion.

Also, if you havn’t already read through this thread, all blogs must conform to the forum rules in terms of content and so fourth.

One bad apple spoils the bunch.

This is in response to the immature activity that took place in the shoutbox just recently.

This was the wrong day to piss me off guys. I’ve had 30 minutes of sleep in the past 2 days. I’m sorry if I am rougher then what you wanted, but I’m just not going to put up with it.

I didn’t just punish one person over this, whole forum and web community were also punished from your behavior. I’m sure they will all thank you.

If no one complains and takes their time off in a peaceful manner, I’ll see about giving some privileges back.

Also to note, if you think you can just “SPAM” the website and resources, don’t be too surprised if you have a lawyer calling you the next day. My server owners/admins do NOT tolerate any of that activity and WILL take care of it promptly.

Thank you.
